What is Frame of Reference? frame of reference and its types - Physics

Frame of Reference in Physics

"The frame of reference is a 3d system that allows the position of a particle to be detected at any moment."
There are to types of frame of reference -

  1. Inertial Frame of Reference
  2. Non- Inertial Frame of reference

Inertial Frame of Reference:-
Such frames of reference which follow the rules of Newton are called Inertial frame of reference.
The velocity of inertial frame of reference is constant so the value of acceleration is zero.

Non Inertial Frame of Reference:- Such frames of reference which don't follow the Newton's law are called Inertial frame of reference.
The velocity of non inertial Frame of Reference varies, so acceleration is not produced.
